Patreon Gods Challenge

From Idling to Rule the Gods Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Description

Works like a UBC, but you must defeat named P.Baals, while also working under additional restrictions chosen by the Patreon for whom the P.Baal is named.

The first challenge requires you to beat P.Baal v1, the second challenge requires P.Baal v2, and so on.

Unlock Condition

Finish at least five UBCs

Restrictions

All of the UBC restrictions apply; in addition, each instance of the challenge will have a secret twist. These are not explicitly stated, either in advance or during the challenge; you must figure them out.

Rewards

Challenge Points: 30
God Power Reward: 150
Statistics Multi: 7.500 million

1% more growth for all pets per challenge finished, doubled if all 25 are completed. "This is a multiplier to growth and is retroactive."

The PGC reward is added to every pet's total growth multiplier. Total growth is the value used in almost all other calculations (dungeon stat bonuses, XP per hour for crafters, etc.). The wording of this challenge's reward was written before the game displayed base growth and total growth separately.

The total growth multiplier affects all past and future growth gained. This includes growth from feeding, lucky draws, dungeon events, growth campaigns, and growth gained during the Undine, Gnome, and Aether pet quests. Note, it will also multiply any negative growth pets.

Completions to Max

Recommended Stats

The first couple are a little harder than a UBC. If you're comfortable doing UBCs, you can probably do the first few PGCs at least. As they begin requiring higher and higher P.Baals, it is wise to wait until you have better pet equipment and more challenges completed. Challenges like the first 20 UCC and the entire PUC series benefit greatly. PBC 25+ and TMC will also provide slight bonuses.

For PGCs after the first couple, it is important to have all UBC completed, a good team of GP campaign pets with decent growth (30k+) and T3/T4 sticks. This camp should include Pandora, Nightmare, FSM, and any other strong pets. Mountain D3 with Clam will increase GP income. Strong BS/CS from pet equipment will be beneficial as well.

Because each PGC is different, not all of them will have the same recommended stats or the same strategy. If you'd like to go into each challenge prepared, read the guide at the bottom of this page detailing each of the PGC's quirks.

Don't be surprised if these take you a couple of days to complete each one. They are much more demanding than most other challenges, requiring patience and a good understanding of the challenge's quirks to avoid being stuck in a challenge for too long.

Strategy

Similar to a UBC, you must also work out the secret challenge restrictions and work around them simultaneously to finish an extended UBC.

The first challenge removes your avatar's Physical and Battle stats, meaning that you get all of your Attack power and HP from Creating (with pet equipment bonus, but without the RTI bonus). However, Creating has a bonus multiplier to make things slightly fairer. Rebirth frequently to get to the point where you can build Lighthouse monuments and their upgrades. Spend God Power even more liberally on CC and CS than you would in a regular UBC. Once you can build Nations, return to the regular UBC strategy, except that you'll want to use Creating crystals instead of Physical crystals, and Lighthouses instead of Mighty Statues.

The second and third challenges have no noticeable downside or benefit. They are just longer UBCs, pushing to P. Baal v2 and v3 respectively. The second challenge will turn all your pets into chickens so make sure you have them set up for campaigns and dungeons the way you want and you will barely notice that they all look the same. The same strategies for UBCs apply to PGC 2 and 3, except you will have more GP to invest in BS and Clones. Not spending much on CC/CS is recommended, since using the 3gp 99,999 clone purchase is more efficient than spending more on CC.

Guide

The below Spoiler gives a brief look at each PGC's unique twist. For a more in-depth look at some of the mechanics, and for strategies on completing each one, check out this guide by Havixx. PGC Cheat Sheet

  • PGC 1: 10x Mystic, 100x Creating, but 0 Physical and Battle. Pet clone stats are not capped by your god stats, so you can still level up pets for campaigns.
  • PGC 2: All your pets are chickens.
  • PGC 3: No special perk.
  • PGC 4: Both CS and BS have a x2 multiplier.
  • PGC 5: Divinity cannot be gained from Monsters or DivGen. Must do special fights or buy with ad points.
  • PGC 6: Only pets equipped with a Bow can find GP in campaigns/dungeons. They also receive double GP. One Bow per pet for campaigns, but only one per dungeon team is needed.
  • PGC 7: Divinity, BS, and CS are decreased by 25%. +1 GP from Gods.
  • PGC 8: +1 GP from gods. Your stats decrease the more GP you spend at a rate of 10000/(GP Spent)^2. Note this includes "temporary" spends like div and 3gp clone buy
  • PGC 9: Start with 2 CC. DivGen auto-unlocked after killing Cybele.
  • PGC 10: Start with 2500 GP. UBv2s give more GP and are easier to kill. No GP from pets, BHs, God Crystal, or UBv1. Auto-rebirth after ~1hr. If your multis are red when you rebirth, it will behave like a 1x multiplier instead. Note that if you kill v10 after 1h, you don't win, you rebirth instead.
  • PGC 11: Wait. Gods will be automatically defeated after a certain time. Having more AAC completed makes the challenge go faster. Total time of ~2.5 days with all AAC done. With only 1 AAC completed, this challenge will take 5 days 46 minutes. Pets will get hungry faster during this challenge.
  • PGC 12: Clones are capped at rebirth, but are permanently killed if they die. Purchasing clones gets cheaper the more you buy. Cannot spend GP on anything but clones.
  • PGC 13: UBs spawn twice as fast and give 5x GP.
  • PGC 14: Basically perkless. When an Earthlike Planet is created, all divgen upgrades and monuments are destroyed. You will then earn 1GP per 3 divgen upgrades.
  • PGC 15: Planet level is 9001. UBs give a boost to Rebirth monument multis equal to (50% + (50%/2 * hours)). You start with 10k Clones.
  • PGC 16: God and pet campaigns give no GP, but rather 16% CS, 16% BC, 1600 clones, or 1 CC. For pet campaigns, every 10 GP gives 1 boost, rounded up.
  • PGC 17: 350k starting clones, but 50% div income.
  • PGC 18: Every 50 pet feedings will give 1 CC, 150% BS, and 75% CS.
  • PGC 19: Effective Crystal Power is 10 times stronger.
  • PGC 20: UBs give 1% more multi for every 1 million Monsters killed in the current rebirth. Need 151 powersurge levels (251%) to kill PBaal v20.
  • PGC 21: Might levelling speed is doubled. Need 1825 total might to kill PBaal v21.
  • PGC 22: No GP from pets. Use codes Alphagemo and Omegahpla after Might unlock each rebirth for bonuses.
  • PGC 23: Get GP every hour based on your total might. No rebirth, but stats increase by 23^hours in the challenge.
  • PGC 24: Potential for more GP from GP Campaigns. 70% chance of doubling, 15% chance of halving, and 15% chance for 4x GP.
  • PGC 25: Too much to explain here. Please see the guide from Havixx above, or visit the Celestial Bow page. In summary, you need to use Archer in Depth 3 Mountain to trigger an event that will allow you to kill PBaal v25. Can be done without Archer, but takes much more time. BowsBeBest This code will remove all gimmicks, make it a vanilla pgc and significantly reduce the power of the last few gods making it about the difficulty of a pgc 23. Putting the code in again will revert it back to a normal pgc 25. The code can be input at any point in the pgc.

There is a separate guide for PGC10 as well, due to its uniqueness.
