Not to be confused with a bunny on Gaia. The name is different, it starts out even weaker! But it will become strong. Probably.

Token Upgrade

You can use a pet token to improve certain stats Rabbit receives from Earth elemental equipment.

  • Each piece of earth gear will give Rabbit an increase to base speed of 5% * equipment tier.
  • Rabbit also receives a flat +50% bonus to attack from all Earth equipment.

So a single tier 3 earth equip would give an additive 15% boost to the equipment's speed stat, independent of base stats or gems. For a T3 Earth Armor using a level 10 Wind Gem, the total speed bonus will be equal to 45% (0% Base + 30% Gem + 15% Improve Effect).

The attack bonus from earth gear also applies to all fire gems slotted into the equipment, so a level 10 fire gem on a T3 earth equip would give an additional 45% attack instead of the standard 30%.

Below is the same Rabbit before(left) and after(right) the token Improvement.

Rabbit vs improve.png

Strategy

With its token improve, Rabbit has a solid role in dungeons as a mage throughout the game, and can initially run the best Earth Gear you can afford with 3 fire gems to build an impressive amount of attack

Midgame Dungeons

During the Midgame, Rabbit's best use in dungeons is acting as the primary mage in Water Temple, due to its compatible offensive element (Earth) versus the low elemental defense that water enemies have against earth. If improved, the additional attack will also help fight mimics to some degree, though initial priorities should be on defensive gear to prevent pets from being oneshot.

Lategame Dungeons

When entering Depth 4 Dungeons, Rabbit will have a rough time finding a proper role, due to the power of the monoelement event confining it to Forest, a dungeon which it has poor priority. When initially entering D4 Forest, Rabbit does help in clearing out Cosmic Gnome enemies with its multiple attacks, but will have difficulty defeating the Corrupt Fairy Queen boss. Eventually D4 Forest Teams will drop Rabbit in exchange for Basilisk and Tödlicher Löffel as both have better compatibility with addressing the challenges in the Dungeon.

After retirement from Forest, Rabbit still can play a valuable role in the Earth Tower, where its additional speed from Earth equipment (when improved) gives it a good matchup against the Unbreakable Armor enemies, using (Stick/Economy Robe/Wind) as its equipment slots to maximize speed.
