Overflow Challenge

Description

This is an infinitely repeatable challenge. Your goal is to get Overflow Points from a score based on killing UBV4s, building black holes and (a few) BHU, having a high pet multiplier, keeping universes in reserve, and training RTI, Might and SpaceDim.

The challenge must be manually finished, with a minimum runtime of 6 hours.

Unlock Condition

Defeat PEV4.

Reward

Challenge Points: 1
Statistics Multi: 1,000,000

Reward is sqrt(score) "Overflow Points", which can be spent on various permanent upgrades.

Recommended Stats

Requires defeating PEV4, so needs at least 10M clones and strong pets. All stats are helpful for score (CS, BS, CC) and finishing all other challenges except UAC will make progress easier.

Strategy

You generally should not be doing this unless you are done with most of your other challenges or don't have anything better to fit your schedule.

The square root in the scoring means that to get twice the overflow points in a run you need to have 4 times the score. For that reason it is more efficient to do shorter runs (6h/12h) than longer ones (24h+). All sources of points also either get more expensive as you get more (BH, BHU, Might, SpaceDim, UBV4) or have a parameter in the scoring that makes them worth fewer points as they scale up (Universes, Pet Multi).

You should be saving most of your universes rather than using them to build upgrades, unless you are already over the cap of 100k points at around 6.8399e8 universes.

The most points you can get per challenge is 500. This cap can be increased by completing UCC 21+

Scoring

Your total points gained are the square root of the sum of:

  • (Universes held) ^ 0.6 / 2
    • This is capped at 100k points at around 6.84e8 (684 million) universes
  • Black Holes * 10
  • Black Hole Upgrades * 10
  • Total might levels trained / 5
  • Total Spacedim trained / 3
  • Total RTI temp levels / 3
  • Total pet multi ^ 0.38 / 3
  • 100 * (V4 kills) * (V4 kills + 1)

This score is capped at 500. However, if you have completed >20 UCCs, the cap is higher; see the UCC page for details.
