Special Ability
Bat gains an additional 40% class experience from all sources. Bat's bonus class experience is not applied if any pet on its dungeon team has an experience siphon weapon equipped (e.g., an Ego Sword or tier equivalent, or Gram).
Strategy
One of the best Blacksmiths for RTI(∞) Tab, tied with Elemental, Elf and Dwarf. Bat is the only pet in the group that doesn't have a speed/quality bonus, and its ability also works in RTI. On the other hand, Dwarf only has a bonus if you feed him level 13 gems, and otherwise has a lower specialist bonus than Bat.
If you use a blacksmith in RTI, then use either Bat (if you will be boosting Dwarf with gems) or Dwarf (otherwise).
Trivia
When Bat is on a team by itself, it can equip Gram and still receive an experience bonus. However, this is generally not too useful due to losing access to 5 additional team members that could funnel experience to Bat.
